First time here, it’s a great Mexican restaurant. The best shrimp cocktail I have had in a long time. It’s very authentic it’s delicious. The menudo, the chiles replenish were so authentic Mexican flavor it was delicious. The green chili sauce they used on the enchiladas it’s so good, the best!! I am definitely coming back here to Deming New Mexico.
The service was great! We will be back if we drive through town again! The chips and salsa were delicious. The salsa was on the spicy side. I ordered the shredded beef burrito smothered in green chili, it had great flavor. It was also a good portion. The rice and beans were a great accompaniment. My husband ordered the Asada burrito he added guacamole and pico de gallo and he said it was really good.
My wife and I were passing through and found this place on Google. The food was great, I had the #1 combo dinner and my wife had chicken enchiladas and we both enjoyed our dinners. Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. I'll come here again!
I ate the burrito plate but I needed to add an egg on top. Great authentic New Mexican food. I live in Albuquerque so I’m no stranger when it comes to Chile real Chile! The flavor just was something else! Words cannot describe! I just felt like I was at home. Great lil restaurant, bring your family or have a date night. If you’re in Deming go to Irma’s. You will not regret it.
We visited around 1 pm on Tuesday. It was not too busy. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. We were given the complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was very good, bery well seasoned and food flavor. Do be warned if you are sensitive to spice, the salsa did have moderate heat. I ordered the 2 burritos plate, carne asada, one with green sauce, one with red, and cheese on both. My husband ordered the 3 tacos, one shredded beef, one ground beef, and one shredded chicken. Tacos were okay, flour tortillas fried but plenty of meat inside. It has been a long time since I have been overwhelmed with good tasting food. The carne asada burritos with green sauce and cheese was SOO GOOD!! The one with red sauce was very good as well. We are traveling through Deming from Kansas. Irma's Restaurant is now our favorite place to stop at when traveling this way. Please note the restaurant is only opened Sunday-Friday until 8 pm.
I'm from Las Vegas Nevada, out here for work. And it has been a struggle to find good food. This place was recommended to us and I'm impressed. The service was on point and food was delicious... Give it a shot you won't be disappointed...
Very good service and food. Really good selection of Mexican food dishes.
Driving home decided to stop by for food. Nice little stop on the corner. Food menu on Google maps was a bit outdated, but no big deal. Had the deluxe Mexican plate with both red and green. The red meat was very well cooked and easily fell apart. The green was equally tender. The cheese enchilada went well with both green and red sauce. You can't get wrong with either one or both. The chile relleno was good with the red and green sauce, but I feel they were too smothered and hid their flavor. Very hard to find good chile rellenos, but Irma's has really good ones. Wish they were bigger though. The taco was very good, great corn tortilla, and seasoned/prepped great. I also had a gordita on the side. Never seen one that was deep fried as they do it here, but I wanted to try it. The deep fried tortilla was very crispy and held up great. Wasn't too greasy or soggy, so it was perfect. Had it with the carne asada which was cooked and prepared great. It was stuffed to the brim, but it was a great single item. You won't be disappointed eating here. This will definitely be a new stopping/eating place that I'll be going to AND recommending to others.
